Just ‘Cause Catering is part of Second
Helpings, Inc.: an Indianapolis-based not-for-profit food rescue,
job training, and hunger relief organization. Second Helpings
takes in perishable and overstocked food, prepares nutritious
meals for thousands of hungry children and adults every day,
and distributes them free of charge through more than fifty
social service agencies, including day care centers, schools,
shelters, and other facilities. Second Helpings also trains
economically disadvantaged adults for meaningful careers in
